At 10:26am on Tuesday, 10 January, we received reports of a fire at a domestic property on Regis Park Road, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the downstairs living room of the property.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel, before clearing the remaining smoke using a large powered fan.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 44 minutes.
