At 12:49pm on Tuesday, 6 September, we received a call to a report of a domestic property fire on Elkins Road in Hedgerley.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station, alongside a crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting the kitchen of the property. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reels and one hydrant. One person was subsequently placed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews on the scene for approximately one hour and 37 minutes.
