At 2:27am on Friday, 27 December, we received reports of a fire on Barnwood Close in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a small fire in the bathroom of the property. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to make the area safe.
They were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
