Fire in Slough

At 8.02pm on Thursday, 18 May, we received reports of a fire at a residential property on Moor Furlong, Slough. 

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Slough and one from Maidenhead to the scene along with a Fire Officer.

Upon arrival crews discovered a fire in the first floor bedroom of a terraced property.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel, and a high pressure fan was used to disperse the smoke.

One person was given immediate emergency care by fire crews with further assistance provided by South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on the scene for approximately 1 hour and 18 minutes.
