At 8:43am on Sunday, 5 April, we received reports of a fire on Meadfield Road in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Langley and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two Officers from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a large fire in a semi-detached house. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. They also provided immediate emergency care to a person before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 50 minutes before returning later to check for hotspots.
