At 3:19pm on Wednesday, 27 May, we received reports of a fire on Penzance Spur in Slough.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley, Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Aerial Ladder Platform from Whitley Wood Fire Station and one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire at a domestic property, with the fire affecting the roof and one adjoining property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three hose reels, one main jet and the Aerial Ladder Platform to put out the fire and dampen down the area, before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police. One person was placed in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on scene for approximately four hours and 13 minutes.
