At 12:08pm on Friday, 21 April, we received reports of a house fire on London Road, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Wokingham were sent to the scene, along with two Officers.
The Aerial Ladder Platform (ALP) from Whitley Wood was also sent to the scene.
Eight firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reels, with the assistance of the ALP. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
Fire crews were on the scene for around 1 hours and 15 minutes.
