At 11:05am on Saturday, 3 December, we received reports of a fire at a domestic property on Chatsworth Avenue, Winnersh.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham, and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the tumble dryer in the garage of the property.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reels.
Crews were on the scene for approximately one hour and 45 minutes.
