At 10:20am on Monday, 13 April, we received reports of a fire on Filey Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a smouldering fuse box. Firefighters used one CO extinguisher to put out the fire, before using a thermal imaging camera to monitor the temperature of the fuse box and ensure the scene was safe. The scene was then handed over to landlord of the property.
Crews were on scene for approximately 59 minutes.
