At 2:21pm on Thursday, 25 June, we received reports of a fire on Wokingham Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in an electrical cupboard. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the area.
They were on scene for approximately 36 minutes.
