At 10:10am on Tuesday, 25 August, we received reports of a fire near Inglewood Road in Kintbury.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene alongside an Officer and a crew from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

On arrival, crews discovered a fire in an air conditioning unit on the roof of a building. Firefighters used one hose reel and two carbon dioxide fire extinguishers to put the fire out.

Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and five minutes.
