At 9:35am on Wednesday, 20 May, we received reports of a fire on Northcroft Lane in Newbury.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two Officers.

On arrival, the crews discovered a small fire in a light fitting. Firefighters used a carbon dioxide extinguisher to put the fire out.

Crews were at the scene for approximately 50 minutes.
