At 6:17pm on Monday, 21 September, we received reports of a fire on London Road in Reading.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two Officers.

On arrival, crews discovered an e-bike on fire in a shop. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
