At 11:02pm on Tuesday, 19 May, we received reports of a fire on Farnham Road in Slough.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Slough Fire Station was sent to the scene alongside an Officer.

On arrival, the crew discovered a telecommunications tower on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet and one main jet to put the fire out before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.

The crew was at the scene for approximately two hours.
