At 10:57am on Tuesday, 1 September, we received reports of a fire at a residential building on Chalvey Grove in Slough.

One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Slough Fire Station was sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, the crew found that the building’s alarm system had sounded due to cooking.

They were on scene for approximately eight minutes.
