At 4:28pm on Saturday, 25 July, we received reports of a fire near Seven Barrows in Lambourn.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Hungerford fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer, an offroad vehicle from Lambourn Fire Station and a crew from Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
On arrival, crews discovered a field fire that had spread to a nearby hedgerow. Firefighters used two hose reels and beaters to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 30 minutes.
