At 11:05pm on Monday, 25 March, we received a call to a report of a fire at a high rise block of flats on Napier Road, Reading.
Crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood, Theale were sent to the scene, alongside the Aerial Ladder Platform.
Upon arrival, crews found that there was a fire in the kitchen of one of the flats. Fortunately it was out on arrival, so they ventilated the affected area and handed back to the owner. They were on the scene for just over 25 minutes.
