At 10:30pm on Wednesday, 27 March, we were called to a report of a fire on Castle Hill, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road Fire Stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered that a washing machine had caught fire in a flat at the property, but this was out on arrival.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 31 minutes.
