At 8:23pm on Saturday, 16 May, we received reports of a fire on Oakengates in Bracknell.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham, Ascot, Bracknell and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer and crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

On arrival, crews discovered a fire at a two-storey block of flats. The fire involved the first floor, roof and three garages. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used three main jets and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 55 minutes.
