At 3:40am on Tuesday, 2 June, we received reports of a fire at Corfe Place in Maidenhead.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a ground floor flat. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire before ventilating smoke from the property with a fan.
Crews provided immediate emergency care to three people at the scene before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately four hours and 34 minutes. An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
