At 1:38am on Saturday, 12 September, we received reports of a fire on George Street in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
On arrival, crews discovered a fire in a flat. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 25 minutes.
