Fire in Slough

At 11:14am on Saturday, 1 February, we received reports of a fire in a flat on Maplin Park in Slough.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and one crew from London Fire Brigade.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the kitchen of a ground floor flat. Two firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property.

They were on scene for approximately 42 minutes.
