At 4:58pm on Saturday, 23 March, we received a call to report a fire in a flat on Spinney in Slough.
Crews from Slough, Langley and Maidenhead Fire Stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a ground floor flat. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel. They then used a fan to ventilate the area. Immediate Emergency Care was given to one casualty at the scene by firefighters, who was subsequently placed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on the scene for just under 30 minutes.
