At 3:01pm on Friday, 21 August, we received reports of a fire in the open on Nine Mile Ride in Wokingham.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found three large bonfires. Firefighters used hose reels to put out the fires and make the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 18 minutes.
