At 2:58pm on Saturday 30, July, we received reports of a field fire at Boveney Lock near Windsor.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough, Langley and Maidenhead were sent to the scene alongside an off-road vehicle.
Upon arrival, crews found that the fire had spread extensively across a field. Using pumped water from the River Thames and beaters, firefighters extinguished the fire.
Crews were on the scene for around 55 minutes.
