At 10:50pm on Thursday, 9 April, we received reports of a fire near Whytladyes Lane in Cookham.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead Fire Station was sent to the scene alongside an Officer and a crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in the open. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 40 minutes before returning later to check for hotspots.
