At 10:12pm on Tuesday, 4 August, we received reports of a fire near Priory Road in Sunningdale.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bracknell Fire Station was sent to the scene alongside an Officer and a crew from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

On arrival, the crew discovered a fire in the open that had spread to nearby trees, fencing and a garden. Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera, two hose reel jets and one hose to find and extinguish the fire.

Firefighters were at the scene for approximately one hour and 50 minutes before a crew from Ascot Fire Station returned to reinspect for hotspots.
