At 7:43pm on Monday, 20 July, we received reports of a fire in the open on Reading Road in Aldermaston.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Theale and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire involving a fallen tree and vegetation. Firefighters used one hose reel to put out the fire and make the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately two hours and 44 minutes.
