At 8:21am on Saturday, 24 June, we received reports of a fire in the open on Chelwood Road in Earley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fence on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire using two hose reels.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 33 minutes.
