At 3:42pm on Saturday, 19 April, we received reports of a fire in the open on Marlow Road in Maidenhead.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer and one crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews found one bonfire out of control. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and foam to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 31 minutes.
