At 10:17am on Thursday, 4 June, we received reports of a fire in the open on Bath Road in Littlewick Green, Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a bonfire that had spread to trees and shrubs. Firefighters used two hose reels to put out the fire.

They were on scene for approximately two hours.

One crew from Maidenhead Fire Station later returned to the scene for a reinspection, where they dampened down hotspots.

Later, one crew from Windsor Fire Station returned to the scene for another reinspection, where they dampened down hotspots.
