At 12:58am on Saturday, 24 June, we received reports of a fire in the open in Grenfell Park in Maidenhead.
A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Maidenhead Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, the crew discovered and extinguished a fire at the base of a tree in the park.
Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 43 minutes.
