At 9:13pm on Monday, 20 July, we received reports of a fire in the open near Purley Rise in Reading.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Caversham Road Fire Station was sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire located in some woodland. Firefighters used hose reels to put out the fire and make the scene safe.
They were on scene for approximately 46 minutes.
