At 9:29pm on Wednesday, 15 April, we received reports of a fire in the open on Horton Road in Datchet, Slough.
One Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Langley Fire Station and two crews from Slough Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a large bonfire. Firefighters used a hose reel jet, drawing water from a nearby lake, to put out the fire, before using a ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 25 minutes.
