At 7.27am on Monday, 17 August, were called to reports of a fire in the open near Junction 5 (Westbound) of the M4.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Langley were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a small grass fire on the verge following a road traffic collision. Firefighters extinguished the fire using one hose reel before handing over to National Highways.
Firefighters were on the scene for about 35 minutes.
