At 3:15pm on Saturday, 15 August, we received reports of a fire in the open near Junction 5 of the M4.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer and one crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a large area of grassland on fire. Firefighters used hose reel jets to put out the fire and dampen down the area.

They were on scene for approximately 49 minutes.
