At 1:08pm on Saturday, 5 September, we received reports of a fire in the open on the M4 westbound between Junctions 6 and 7 in Slough.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and one crew from Windsor Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer.

Upon arrival, crews found a grass fire. Firefighters used hose reels to put out the fire and make the scene safe.

They were on scene for approximately 23 minutes.
