Fire in the Open, Windsor

At 10.28am on Saturday, 27 May, we received a call to a report of a fire in the open on Duke Street in Windsor.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Langley fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one officer from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a large number of wooden pallets and metal containers alight, and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hose reels and one main jet.

Crews were at the scene approximately one hour and thirty seven minutes.
