At 6:59pm on Thursday, 16 July, we received reports of a fire near the Jubilee flood relief channel near Dorney.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough fire station were sent to the scene alongside an off-road vehicle from Maidenhead Fire Station.
On arrival, crews discovered a fire involving approximately three acres of grassland. Firefighters used a hose reel and beaters to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 35 minutes.
