At 10:57am on Friday, 31 July, we received reports of a fire near Shurlock Row.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.

On arrival, crews discovered a fire involving approximately 25 metres of pine forest. Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 10 minutes.
