Fire in Maidenhead

At 7:27am on Thursday, 30 January, we received reports of a fire on Alleyns Lane in Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer and two crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a log cabin on fire. Four firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one jet, one hose reel, a triple extension ladder and tools to put out the fire and make the area safe.

They were on scene for approximately five hours and 34 minutes.

One crew from Maidenhead Fire Station later returned to the scene for a post-fire reinspection, where they were on scene for approximately five minutes.
