Fire in Maidenhead

At 11:15am on Friday, 28 July, we received reports of a fire on Camley Park Drive in Maidenhead.

Royal Berkshire fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Ascot, Slough, Langley and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two Officers, an Aerial Ladder Platform, an Incident Command Unit, an Operational Support Unit and crews from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire involving two storeys and the roof of a detached property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two ladders and three hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. One person was taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews were on the scene for approximately four hours and 20 minutes.
