At 1:19pm on Monday, 14 August, we received reports of a fire on Staverton Road in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a small kitchen fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 15 minutes.
