At 9:32pm on Friday, 13 October, we received reports of a fire on Gardeners Lane in Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road Fire Station and Whitley Wood Fire Station, along with crews and an Officer from Oxfordshire were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found that fire from an external bin had spread to a fence and the side of a house. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire before ventilating the smoke and damping down to make the scene safe.
They were on the scene for around 37 minutes.
