At 5:51pm on Saturday, 3 February, we received reports of a road traffic collision on Milman Road in Reading
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a small fire in an external gas outlet. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a carbon dioxide extinguisher to put out the fire before using a gas monitor to check for leaks.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 14 minutes.
