At 2:28pm on Tuesday, 13 October, we received reports of a fire on Thibet Road in Sandhurst.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Ascot and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside two crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the side extension of the house. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus rescued one dog from the property, before using one jet and two hose reels to put out the fire.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 42 minutes.
