Fire in Sandhurst

At 1:52pm on Friday, 6 June, we received reports of a fire on Oak Avenue in Sandhurst.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Crowthorne and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside one Officer. Two crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a flash fire. Crews provided immediate emergency care to one person and placed them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service and Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS). Firefighters used one hose reel to put out the fire. The scene was handed over to Thames Valley Police.

They were on scene for approximately one hour and 54 minutes.

A fire investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
