Fire in Slough

At 6:04 am on Monday 21 August, we received reports of a fire on London Road in Slough.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and a crew from Langley Fire Station was sent to the scene, alongside an Officer.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a ground floor kitchen. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets and a safety jet to extinguish the fire. Crews also rescued four people from the first floor of the property using a ladder before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. After the fire was out, firefighters used a fan to ventilate smoke from the property.

Crews were on the scene for approximately two hours and 30 minutes.
