At 5:29pm on Monday, 6 July, we received reports of a fire on Cantley Crescent in Wokingham.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham, Crowthorne and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found the charging point for an electric car on fire. Firefighters used one hose reel to put out the fire before using a thermal imaging camera to monitor the temperature.

They were on scene for approximately 19 minutes.
