At 11:40pm on Sunday, 7 January, we received reports of a fire on Crescent Road in Wokingham.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a second storey bathroom. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews also provided immediate emergency care to one person before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and eight minutes.
